He went in details on the needs for this significant meeting. He said Kabiyesi is working on the instruction of Governor Ambode that said Royal fathers will be accountable for any short comings in their community. He therefore urged all the residents of Igbogbo kingdom to be security conscious at this crucial moment of repositioning Igbogbo Kingdom.

Odofin further revealed that Kabiyesi had held meetings with DPOs, Commander, Area N, Ijede, and other security operatives more so when the Lagos State Commissioner for Police put the blame on the Royal fathers and Chiefs in Ikorodu division.

Before the response from the audience, Chief Odofin did not hesitate to read out the Palace's resolutions to the hearing of the audience, these include the following:

1. The CDAs must work in alliance with their Baales in various communities and community with no Baale must have a joint task force and report back to Chief Jelili Oduntan, the Balogun of Igbogbo kingdom.

2. There shouldn't be multiple security operatives in a particular community. That is, a community must be identified with a security group.

3. The recruitment process of the security operatives must be scrutinized and proper spiritual process must be conducted.

4. Neighborhood Safety Corp should coordinate the security operatives and parley with Chief Jelili Oduntan, the Balogun of Igbogbo kingdom.

6. The use of whistle should be introduced among the CDAs.

However, Mr Hameed Akanni Odebiyi, the Chairman Offin Joint CDA applauded Kabiyesi for his wisdom and leadership qualities. Adekoya from Agunfoye, Mr Adekunle Adeshina from Igbe and Mrs Adijatu Sidi from Orere-Abosan emphasized on the non challant attitude towards security dues.

Moreover, Prince Jelili Adewale Sanni from Ifesowapo CDA, Ewu-Abiye made a robust submission on the havoc that the divisions among the security operatives will cause a community. He further enjoined other communities to form a joint task force in their various communities.

The head of Onyabo, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Mr Shina Olusanya said it is obvious that the convener of this august meeting meant well for the Igbogbo kingdom due to his audacity of hope to position and project the community positively and assured that there's no conflict within the security operatives in Igbogbo.

He further urged the CDAs to seriously look into the Street Gating as this had prevented them in so many cases when running after thieves.

Without much ado, the Kabiyesi, Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali appreciated everyone there present, he solicited for the cooperation of the local Security operatives with the Police and entrenching peace and tranquility among themselves, so as to secure the lives and properties of the citizenry.

Kabiyesi frowned at the defaulters of security dues, he therefore urged the landlords and tenants to cooperate with their CDAs promptly. He enjoined Igbogbo youth to be progressive and desist from any act of criminality, he vowed not to plead for anybody arrested for criminal offences.

Moreover, Kabiyesi gave kudos to Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode for his uncommon systematic way of governance. He reiterated the plan of the Lagos State government to commence the Ipakodo/Igbogbo road, Bola Ahmed Tinubu way and Igbe road soonest. He further affirmed that based on his frequent discussion with Hon Akinsola and Hon Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka, Offin/Oreta road will also receive government attention.

The eloquent king therefore warned that he will not hesitate to use the power conferred on him upon anyone who goes against the Palace's resolutions.

The meeting which was graced with many reputable personalities including the APC Chairmanship candidate, Comrade Olusesan Daini, saw Chief Tajudeen Onasanya who gladly gave the vote of thanks that brought the security meeting to an end.
