IGBOGBO YOUTH COALITION TRASHED IGBOGBO STUDENTS' UNION 4-1, IN AN OPENING MATCH OF THE ADEBORUWA PEACE AMBASSADORS INTER-STREET FOOTBALL COMPETITION

It was a festival of goals at Igbogbo Sports Stadium on Sunday, 4th of December, 2016, when Igbogbo Youth Coalition football team (IYC) flogged Igbogbo Students' Union football team (ISU) by Four goals to One in an opening Match of the Adeboruwa Peace Ambassadors Inter-Street Football Competition.

The Match kicked off at exactly 5:25pm, while Femi Sotomiwa put the ball at the back of the net in the 20minutes of the game through a penalty shoot for Igbogbo Youth Coalition (IYC), the game ended in one goal up, in favour of the IYC at the first half.

The second half of the game was more interesting when Amuda double the goal for IYC, Taiye Oduntan could have made it three for the Igbogbo Youth Coalition in the 53 minute but lost the opportunity through another penalty shoot, however, Wale Adeniyi put one back to reduce the tally for Igbogbo Students' Union in the 59minute of the game, before Idris Ishola and Femi Sotomiwa scored the third and fourth goal for Igbogbo Youth Coalition in the 81 and 89minutes respectively.

Femi Sotomiwa of Igbogbo Youth Coalition football team was named Man of the Match after he scored two goals and one assist.
